German non-life premiums to continue to rise
German general insurers will continue increasing premiums to offset declining yields in their investment portfolios.
According to Fitch, gross written premiums for the sector will grow 2% in 2017 and 1% in 2018 following an increase of around 3% in 2016, driven by higher pricing.
