Esure's profit leaps 44.6% in H1
Esure saw its profit before tax from continuing operations rise 44.6% in H1 2017, to £45.1m from 31.2m for the same period last year.
The group saw its in-force policies grow 8.8% to £2.25m, with gross written premiums up 22.8% to £393.3m from £320.4m in the same period last year. Combined operating ratio improved 2.6% to 96.6%
