Singapore offers cat bond grant

The Singapore government is attempting to kick-start the country's insurance-linked securities business by offering to cover all upfront charges.

Yesterday Lim Hng Kiang, Singapore’s minister for trade and industry and deputy chairman of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, announced at the Singapore International Reinsurance Conference that
