Vienna Insurance Group sees profits climb by 22%
Vienna Insurance Group saw profits before tax rise 22% in Q1 2017 to €109.6m (£94.6m) from €89.6m in the same period last year.
The group saw its combined operating ratio improve from 97.8% in Q1 2016 to 96.9% in the first quarter of this year. Gross written premiums rose by 0.5% from €2705.8m to €2719.6m.
