Government publishes bill to trigger Article 50
The government’s bill to trigger Article 50 and exit the European Union has been published today with a Parliamentary debate scheduled to take place on Tuesday of next week.
Just 137 words long, the bill contains only two clauses and was put together after the government lost its case in the Supreme Court for trying to trigger Article 50 without Parliamentary consultation
