Markerstudy IT upgrade sees 45 jobs impacted

Markerstudy will see 45 jobs go in its IT department following greater investment in automation.

Some 26 staff left the company with a settlement agreement, but the company is likely to make 19 further redundancies.

A spokesman for Unite said the union was not involved in any consultation.
