Price of comprehensive car insurance rises by 19%

Average comprehensive car insurance prices have seen an increase of 19% during the second quarter of 2016 while third party, fire and theft policies reached their most expensive since 2006.

The latest Car Insurance Price Index from Confused.com motorists are now paying on average 19% - £115 - more for car insurance than they were paying this time last year.
