Mutual and cooperative sector sees above average growth
Three-quarters of the world’s biggest cooperative and mutual insurers saw positive premium growth in 2014, and 18% saw double digit growth in the same year.
Research from the International Cooperative and Mutual Insurance Federation found that the sector wrote $1.3trn (£915m) of premiums in 2014.
