Career development: Aviva refreshes online training site
Aviva has launched its newly refreshed Aviva Development Zone to help insurance brokers maintain and evidence their continuous professional development training.
The Aviva Development Zone, produced with compliance and e-learning experts RWA, helps insurance brokers assess their training needs, access more than 200 technical, regulatory and business skills courses and keep records of competency, helping them meet both their regulatory requirements and business management needs.
Following feedback from insurance brokers, Aviva's new system has many features including a ‘T&C wizard', which helps brokers create a learning plan, based on their own job role. New additions also include a gap analysis tool, which enables staff to test and prove their competency and an option to benchmark staff training levels against the Aviva Development Zone average. In addition, there is a ‘notifications' section which lets brokers know when their staff have completed training modules.
Phil Bayles, chief sales and marketing officer, at Aviva, pictured, said: "Keeping up to date with regulatory requirements is essential and our learning and risk management system is designed to make it much easier for insurance brokers to manage their FCA competency responsibilities.
"The development zone provides one central place where insurance brokers can identify any gaps in their training, fill those knowledge gaps using The development zone's extensive bank of learning material and be able to record and evidence that improved knowledge."
