Penny Black’s Insurance Week - 15 January
Penny was among the insurance hacks walking the hallowed halls of Lloyd’s this week to meet City minister Andrea Leadsom MP.
But it was during Penny’s exit that the day became more interesting, when she and a handful of others were pointed towards a descending lift, only to find it already occupied by Lloyd’s chairman John Nelson. A friendly Lloyd’s PR enquired if John would mind frightfully if he shared his lift and, despite the intrusion, the press were welcomed with open arms. If only everyone was as keen to get down with Penny.
