Government sets March 2015 Budget date
Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne is to deliver the final Budget for the current parliament on 18 March 2015.
Announcements in the 2014 Budget that impacted general insurers were the removal of the compulsory purchase of annuities as well as a £140m pledge for flood defences.
An exemption on insurance premium
