As the festive season approaches, Post spoke to the industry's favourite robot to talk festive socks and Santa conquering aliens

What are you hoping Father Christmas brings for you this year?
Robots do not have Father Christmas. We have the Santabot. I am hoping to receive some more RAM for Christmas! And a can or two of WD40 would be nice. I hope that's not too greedy.

What is the worst Christmas present you've ever received?
These festive socks. I do not have feet! Although I'm told that ‘the thought' is a pertinent metric when processing the data.

What about the best present?
Last year, my friends at Confused.com let me work on Christmas day. My favourite thing!

What is your favourite festive food?
Plugs-in-blankets! But seriously though, I cannot eat.

What is your favourite Christmas song?
Driving Home For Christmas. I love songs about cars.

Will you be playing charades on Christmas Day?
I calculate not. I have no fingers, so trying to play charades with my friends at Confused.com may lead to much confusion.

What is your favourite festive film?
I am rather fond of the documentary Santa Claus Conquers the Martians.

Christmas pudding or mince pies?
Seriously though, I still cannot eat.

Home Alone or The Muppet Christmas Carol?
Home Alone. Although I hope the McCallisters had a good home insurance policy.

Do you have any New Year's resolutions?
Yes, to save more nice humans POUNDS than ever before.
