Aviva finalises £5.6bn Friends Life takeover
Aviva has completed a deal to acquire Friends Life for £5.6bn, with shareholders of the new purchase taking on 26% of Aviva.
The deal sees Aviva pay 394p per share for Friends Life, with Friends Life shareholders expected to receive, in place of Friends Life's 2014 final dividend, a second interim dividend of 24.1p per
