AIG reported to be lead insurer for Virgin Galactic loss

AIG is reported to be the lead insurer for the Virgin Galactic spaceship that crashed last week.

According to a report by Reuters quoting sources, the craft was insured against losses of around $40m (£25m) to $50m

One pilot was killed and another seriously injured when the spaceship crashed in
