China encourages insurers to invest overseas
A senior representative of the China Insurance Regulatory Commission has urged insurers to increase their exposure to overseas assets.
Chen Wenhui told a conference on 23 October that Chinese insurers were only investing 1% of their assets overseas compared to a regulatory cap of 15%.
According to the Securities Times Chen said only
