Government urged to extend HSE remit to occupational road accidents
Insurers have called on the government to focus more closely on occupational road risk, with many urging the Health and Safety Executive to extend its remit to accidents involving fleet drivers.
The call follows a meeting last week between the Parliamentary Advisory Council for Transport Safety and members of the insurance industry, where it was suggested that the lack of oversight on fleet
