Helios sees H1 GWP boost through acquisitions
Helios Underwriting has attributed its increase in underwriting capacity to £21.3m for the six months ended 31 June 2014 to the acquisition of three businesses in the period.
Helios purchased Nomina No 380, Bernul and Nomina No 372 in the first half of this year.
Gross written premiums for the period were £10.2m (H1 2013: £7.1m) and net premiums written were £8.1m (H1 2013
