Hong Kong Observatory issues T8 warning
Many businesses were closed across Hong Kong on Tuesday morning (16 September) with the Hong Kong Observatory keeping a typhoon eight warning in place.
Gusts of up to 166km/hr from passing Typhoon Kalmaegi meant the Hong Kong Observatory raised the T8 warning, the second highest level, on Monday evening for the first time this year.
