Sompo Japan offers typhoon insurance for island in Philippines
PGA Sompo Japan will offer 'Typhoon Guard' for agricultural producers on the island of Mindanao in southern Philippines.
Typhoon Guard is an index insurance which pays out if the center of a typhoon passes through a predetermined area of coverage.
According to Sompo, it is the first time in the Philippine insurance
