Berlin unveils Uber ban

Smartphone taxi company Uber has been hit with a ban from the city of Berlin on concerns over insurance for passengers.

The Berlin authority said passengers may not be covered by insurance because they aren't traditional cabs.

Uber set up in Berlin in February last year, it allows users to hail cabs through smartphone

Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
