Independent midwives have agreed a commercial professional indemnity insurance arrangement allowing them to continue practising under new EU legislation.
Under the Health Care and Associated Professions (Indemnity Arrangements) Order 2013, from 17 July 2014 all regulated healthcare professionals, including independent midwives, must hold appropriate
