Aspen urges shareholders to reject ‘inadequate' Endurance proposals
Bermuda-based insurer Aspen is urging shareholders to reject continuing takeover advances from Endurance Specialty Holdings as it released preliminary Q2 results.
Aspen's board rejected a takeover bid from Endurance in April when it proposed to acquire Aspen for $47.50 per share, 60% in Endurance common stock and 40% in cash.
