Queensland to spend A$51m on disaster mitigation
Insurance Council of Australia welcomes Australian state's spending on disaster mitigation but criticises stamp duty policy.
The proposed A$51m spending in this year's budgets comes after Queensland was hit by major flooding in the summer of 2010/11 causing billions of dollars of damage.
