Sony warehouse fire consequential losses verdict overturned
The Court of Appeal today ruled that section 2 of the Riot (Damages) Act does allow recovery for consequential losses, overturning an earlier ruling.
The first test case on this section of the act arose out of claims against the police for recovery of material damage and consequential losses following the arson attack on the Sony DADC Distribution
