ABI calls for small claims limit increase
The Association of British Insurers is urging government to increase the small claims limit from £1000 to £5000 to help ensure the fall in motor insurance premiums can be sustained.
In a statement, the ABI said the increase would be "crucial" in turning the tide on fraudulent and exaggerated low value personal injury claims.
