Bupa posts 8% increase in revenues boosted by acquisitions
Bupa posted an 8% increase in revenues to £9.1bn in 2013, driven by both organic performance and acquisitions.
The health insurer's underlying profit before tax was up 5% to £638.5m. However, statutory profit before tax was down 12% to £514.4m.
The firm saw a 57% increase in total customer numbers to 22m
