Axa praises Canadian police after rare artefact is recovered
Axa Art has praised the efforts of its loss adjuster and police authorities in Canada following the recovery rare and valuable Persian Achaemenid bas-relief panel.
The panel - which dates from the 5th century BC, is made of limestone and is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars - was stolen from the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts in 2011.
