SRA kicks off unrated insurer consultation
The Solicitors Regulation Authority has formally opened an eight week consultation on barring unrated insurers from providing professional indemnity cover to regulated firms.
The SRA first proposed a consultation earlier in the month, following a study by Marsh that examined whether unrated firms had a detrimental impact on the market.
