Allianz seeking €1.2bn asset deal with Italian insurer
Italian insurer Unipol Gruppo Finanziario is considering a proposal from Allianz to buy €1.2bn (£987m) of insurance assets.
The assets belong to former Milano Assicurazioni which is part of Unipol’s main operating unit UnipolSai.
A statement from Unipol said a deal is expected to be reached by 15 March.
