Costa Concordia removal operation set for June

Stricken cruise liner the Costa Concordia will be taken away for scrapping in an operation beginning in June.

The removal of the ship will come nine months after the ship was righted in September last year in an 18 hour operation.

Under current plans, teams will fix 15 large tanks to the sides of the ship
