Outer Space Act indemnity cap is welcomed by industry experts
The decision by the government to action a proposal to cap the unlimited indemnity in the Outer Space Act to €60m (£49.4m) has been heralded as a sign space innovation in the UK is “ready for investment”.
The government will proceed to cap the liability requirement to €60m for the majority of missions by way of a Legislative Reform Order. The LRO may give the Secretary of State powers to vary the
