Aviva sets aside £500m for investment as insurance growth plan is launched
Aviva has pinpointed £500m for investment in UK infrastructure following a pledge with five other life insurers to pump £25bn into major projects as part of the government’s national infrastructure plan.
News of Aviva's initial investment comes on the same day that government launched its UK insurance growth action plan at Lloyd's, the details of which were first revealed two weeks ago.
