Indonesia to roll out world's largest healthcare scheme

The Indonesian government alongside state-owned insurers will roll out an ambitious healthcare scheme for over 100m people starting in January.

The idea is to give everybody in Indonesia access to healthcare by introducing a 5% salary tax, and the poor will be given free healthcare. 117m subscribers will subscribe to the scheme on 1 January
