S&P places Axa (Ireland) on credit watch neg
Standard & Poor's ratings services has placed its 'BBB+' long-term counterparty credit and insurer financial strength ratings on Axa Insurance (Ireland) on credit watch with negative implications.
On February 2, the ratings agency lowered its ratings on the Republic of Ireland to A-/Watch Neg/A-2 from A/Watch Neg/A-1. Under its ratings criteria, S&P only rates insurance companies higher than
