German non-life insurers' focus on rates improves profitability
The German non-life insurance market has proved to be resilient, seeing growth in 2011 and a robust 2012.
The sector in 2011 recorded its strongest annual percentage increase in premiums since 2003, expanding by 2.5% to reach €56.6bn of premium income, according to a new report by AM Best.
