Italian insurance premiums to rise 5% in 2010
Italian insurance premiums are expected to rise 5.5 % in 2010 and include a recovery in non-life insurance which suffered most in the recession, according to country's trade association the ANIA.
Total insurance premiums are seen at €124bn euros in 2010, including €87bn of life premiums which are seen rising 7.4% in 2010, from 2009, the ANIA association said in its 2009-2010 annual report.
