ADB pilot aims to bring affordable crop insurance to Bangladesh

A new initiative from Japan and the Asian Development Bank could make crop insurance a viable option for Bangladeshi farmers.

According to online newspaper Bangladesh News 24, the ADB said yesterday it had approved a crop insurance project, which relies on a $2m grant from Japan.

The Bangladesh government will contribute
