Hurricane Isaac insured loss estimates put at $700m to $2bn

Catastrophe modeling firm AIR Worldwide said that insured losses from Hurricane Isaac to onshore properties in the US will be between $700m and $2bn.

AIR's estimates include wind and storm surge damage to onshore residential, commercial and industrial properties and their contents, automobiles, and time element coverage (additional living expenses
