Insurer wins lawsuit to sue Lance Armstrong
Acceptance Insurance Holdings has won the right to sue disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong after a judge in Texas refused Armstrong’s request to dismiss the case.
The insurer is seeking to recover the $3m in bonuses paid to Armstrong between 1999 and 2005 for winning the Tour de France and other races.
