FM Global shrugs off Sandy
Property and casualty insurer FM Global secured a profit of $774m in 2012 and a COR of 85.7% despite 2 200 claims from superstorm Sandy.
In 2012, gross written premiums increased 8.6% to $5.5bn, with new business growing 6.5%.
The company recoreded the results despite receiving 2 200 claims from one of the worst storms in the US's
