Ombudsman data shows insurance complaints up 4.6%
Consumer complaints for general insurance products reached almost 6500 in the quarter ending 30 September according to data published by the Financial Ombudsman Authority.
The 6448 complaints represent a 4.6% increase on complaints received in the previous quarter, and is exceeded only by complaints seen by the Ombudsman on payment protection cover.
