QBE’s Burns to retire from executive work
Former QBE Europe chief executive Steven Burns will not take on the role of group chief financial officer as planned.
Burns has announced his retirement from fulltime executive work for lifestyle and personal reasons. He will take a short sabbatical and rejoin QBE in January 2014 based in Sydney on a part-time basis
