Insure The Box launches "girlish" brand

Telematics specialist Insure The Box has launched a new brand, Drive Like a Girl, that it claims can help "young female drivers beat the EU price hike in car insurance" by rewarding young drivers, regardless of gender, who can "prove" they drive safely using telematics.

The European Union Gender Directive, which came into force on 21 December, bans motor insurers from setting lower premiums for female drivers, who are known to be safer drivers as a group, than male
