ABI’s Dalton slams claimant lawyers on Laspo review

The Association of British Insurers’ head of motor and liability James Dalton has condemned calls for a review of the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act.

Laspo is due to come into force from April, and Dalton said calls from the claimant lobby for a judicial review the legislation reflect an industry desperate to preserve a no win no fee legal system.
