Crawford on site at Oldham gas explosion
Crawford said that approximately 100 homes have been evacuated while rescue work and inspection of property is undertaken following a gas explosion which killed a young boy and destroyed two houses in Oldham yesterday.
According to reports from the BBC, the police say the death of the two year-old, named locally as Jamie Heaton, following the explosion in Buckley Street, Shaw, is now being treated as suspicious.
