RBS names Biggs as Direct Line Group chairman

The Royal Bank of Scotland has confirmed the appointment of Mike Biggs as chairman of Direct Line Group's board of directors.

Post reported earlier this week that the former group finance director of Aviva had been linked to the job.

Biggs has more than 40 years' experience in the UK and international financial services
