Hurricane season to cost $5bn
It is estimated that the 2011 Atlantic hurricane season will cost in the region of U$5bn, according to Risk Management Solutions.
The majority of losses will be driven by Hurricane Irene in the US, which caused losses in 14 states in total. North Carolina, New Jersey, and New York drove the majority of the losses.
