Matthews CEO on Friday
Aviva has confirmed that Trevor Matthews, pictured, will join the board as chief executive officer of Aviva UK from 2 December 2011.
His appointment to replace Mark Hodges who quit to head up Towergate, was made in June prompting fears that the life insurance heavyweight might neglect the general insurance side of Aviva's business.
