Insurers unite on winter tyres
The Association of British Insurers is set to unveil a list of major motor players that have agreed not to charge an additional premium to policyholders for the fitting of winter tyres.
According to the ABI, the issue of potentially invalidating insurance policies by fitting winter tyres to cars came to the fore last year following the abnormally cold spell.
