Lord Young resigns over recession comments
Coalition government adviser Lord Young of Graffham has resigned after playing down the UK’s recession suggesting Britons “never had it so good”.
The peer, who had produced a wide-reaching review of health and safety legislation in October, made the comments during an interview with the Daily Telegraph.
